North America, principally the USA and Canada has an immense amount of variety on offer for the traveller. 

 

With 50 states, the USA is a patchwork of cultural and musical diversity.  At just under 2500 miles, the iconic Route 66 connects east to west as it snakes its way across the country from Chicago to Los Angeles.

Travel south to get into the groove with its musical history -  the blues, country and western and the King himself.

Canada is a country of outstanding natural beauty - with the Rocky mountains, crystal clear lakes and majestic landscapes combined with stylish cities - there is something for everyone.

Florida

Perfect for a family holiday with its mix of beautiful beaches, outstanding accommodation and theme parks -  with year round good weather Florida is the real sunshine state.

Disney World, Universal Studios, Seaworld

are all here! 

 

The Gulf Coast offers sugar soft beaches and endless golf.

Don't forget the Everglades - you can take a guided Eco-tour by boat or on foot or head south to The Florida Keys and Key West.

Enjoy the fishing or snorkelling and keep a look out for the dolphins who frequent this place!

California

California has everything in one state! 

 

The cosmopolitan cities of San Francisco and LA great for shopping,  the wine region where you can sample the local tipple, Yosemite National Park  for nature lovers - the list is endless.

Head south and you'll find pristine white beaches, Hollywood where you can do some star spotting and San Diego, the second largest city in California renowned for its idyllic climate.

 

Head to Mission Bay for some surfing, a sunset cruise or some whale watching.

New York

The largest city in the USA - has something for everyone. 

 

See the dazzling lights of Times Square, catch a show on Broadway, take a turn around Central Park and visit Strawberry Fields.  Or jump on a tour boat and visit the Statue of Liberty.

And the shopping, did we mention the shopping??  Bloomingdales, Saks 5th Avenue, Tiffany...

Perfect for an action packed weekend break or as a stepping stone to somewhere - New York is the 24 hour city that just never stops.

New Orleans

It always seems like Mardi Gras time in New Orleans , the city that is a perfect blend of Spanish, French, Creole and American. 

 

The music never stops in this city famed for its jazz. From world class music venues to buskers on the street, Bourbon Street is always alive with song. 

Ride an historic  streetcar in Downtown for a trip through the French Quarter and beyond to places you must not miss.

Don't forget to try a Po'boy  sandwich or visit the  Cafe du Monde French Market Coffee Stand, the legendary home of the classic Coffee and Beignets.

Las Vegas

What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas - or so the saying goes!

 

Famous for its Casinos and 24 hour lifestyle it also boasts blockbuster shows, awesome resorts and hotels, fabulous dining and amazing shopping.

Walk along The Strip and be entertained by the Bellagio's dancing fountains and visit France, Italy, New York and Cairo without leaving the city.

Then book yourself a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon to be amazed at this unbelievable natural wonder.

New England

Made up of 6 states in the North East of the USA, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut, New England is a place for enjoying the natural vista whether that is the coast or the mountains.

Famous for its Fall foliage, its a great place to visit anytime between May and October.

Visit the chic city of Boston, known as the gateway to New England, full of colonial charm and urban sophistication where you can visit the Boston Tea Party ships or do the Freedom Trail a 3 mile walk through historic Old Boston.

Head up to Maine for some fabulous  seafood and get 'cracking' on a succulent whole Maine Lobster.

Mmmmm....

Hawaii

Aloha!

A beautiful place full of smiling places and the Aloha spirit, Hawaiian culture is very much alive, and it  shines through its people! From its city and beach names (which are almost all still in the Hawaiian language) to hula demonstrations at luaus to people speaking Hawaiian at the grocery store.

 

Hawaii is made up of eight main islands, each of which is unique in its own way. 

 

Oahu  is the most well known with its famous bustling capital Honolulu and its white sandy beaches. 

 

Hawaii Island is know for having the most active volcano in the world Kīlauea - which has been erupting for the last 30 years! 

 

Maui is where you should go for adventure, beautiful scenery and amazing marine life.

Kauai is  known for its colourful and lush vegetation, hippy vibes, and amazing hiking.

And of course, it is the best place in the world to see both the sunrise and the sunset over the water.

Canada

Spectacular.

If we only had one word to sum up Canada - then that would be it.  A vast country which is made to be outdoors with spectacular pristine landscapes, crystal clear lakes and sophisticated modern cities and packed with activity.

From the Rocky Mountains to Niagara Falls - everything here is on a grand scale. 

Ride the world famous Rocky Mountaineer train for breathtaking scenery, or get up close and personal with an incredible wildlife encounter and go bear or whale watching.

How about a ski trip to Whistler?

Or head on over to Calgary where cowboy hats and line dancing are always in fashion.

Finally head to the city for  great entertainment and great shopping. 

So much to do - so little time!
